Clamps Wheels Externally up to 21". Heavy Duty 1.5 horsepower motor. Bead loosener with three support blocks provide wheel protection and ensures contact with the tire beads at the proper angle. X-Shaped table top holds wheel firmly in place during operation.
This is the latest tire changer in the Coats Rim Clamp line. Available with Air Drive or Electric motor. This is an ideal tire changer if you need to add another changer to your shop to increase volume. The ergonomic design places all the controls in easy reach, reducing unnecessary movement, reducing tire change times and increasing profit. X Shaped high torque electric turntable with external clamping range capacity of 9" to 30" gives you the power you need for tough applications. Coats exclusive new three position bead loosener for eliminating wheel damage and increasing productivity. Ergonomically positioned foot pedals and helper controls located at the point of actuation minimizes training and opportunities for error.
The APX90 handles the big jobs, from the run-flats to the large custom tires, while still tackling conventional wheels and rims. Duckhead roller keeps the bead in location when mounting low-profile tires and can be easily removed when it isn't needed.
